Given:

A, B and C have Rs.500 between them, A and C together have Rs.200 and B and C have Rs.350.

To find:

The amount that C have.

Solution:

As given, we have,

the total money A, B and C have = Rs. 500

i.e.

A + B + C = 500 (i)

Also,

A + C = Rs. 200 (ii)

and

B + C = Rs. 350 (iii)

Now,

on putting the value of B + C from (iii) in (i), we get,

A + 350 = 500

A = 150

Now,

on putting the value of A in (ii), we get the amount that C have

150 + C = 200

C = 50

Hence, the C have 50 Rs.
