Answer:

C paid 1000 rupees.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

a,b,c hire a taxi for rs.2400 for one day and a, b and c used the car for 6 hours, 8 hours and 10 hours respectively.

Here we want to find how much did c pay?

That's mean here we want to find charge of the taxi for 10 hours.

By Unitary method we can solve this.

Here given,

Charge of taxi for 24 hours is Rs.2400

By Unitary method,

Charge of taxi for 1 hour is

 \frac{2400}{24} = 100

rupees.

Now c used taxi for 10 hours.

So, charge of taxi for 1 hour is 100 rupees.

then charge of taxi for 10 hours is (10 \times 100) = 1000rupees.
