first of it is a question of accountancy not business studies
here is the solution
suppose firm earns rs1
as per capital ratio
c should get 7/16
but c should get half so 7/16*1/2 = 7/32
and remaining 1- 7/32 = 25/32 to a & b in capital ratio
so A = 25/32*4/9 = 100/288

B = 25/32*5/9 = 125/288
C = 7/32* 9/9 = 63/288. ( to equal denominator)
so ratio is
100 : 125 :63

now profit is 36000
reserve 25%
remaining. 27000
b's share = 11718.75

hope it is right
inform me that it is right or not

Explanation:

We analyze the question as follows :

The initial ratio is :

4 : 5 : 7

Since c is lazy he only gets half of what he was supposed to get.

Now half of 7 is = 3.5

The new ratio will be :

4 : 5 : 3. 5

The sum of the ratios will be :

4 + 5 + 3.5 = 12.5

The share of B will be :

They reserve 25% for reinvestment so the amount shared will be :

75/100 × 36000 = 27000

B's share will be :

5/12.5 × 27000 = 10800

The share of b is therefore Rs 10800.
