Answer:

180 , 144 & 99

Step-by-step explanation:

A, B and C subscribed Rs. 4700 for a business. A subscribes Rs. 400 more than B. And B subscribes Rs. 500 more than C. Find how much profit will each receive out of a profit of Rs 423.

Let say C Invested = Rs C

B invested = Rs C + 500

A invested = C + 500 + 400 = C + 900 Rs

C + C +500 + C + 900 = 4700

=> 3C = 3300

=>C = 1100

A investment = 2000 Rs

B investment = 1600 Rs

C Investment = 1100 Rs

A : B : C ::: 20 : 16 : 11

20 + 16 + 11 = 47

A's Share = (20/47) * 423  = 180 Rs

B's Share = (16/47) * 423 = 144  Rs

C's  Share = (11/47)*423 = 99 Rs
