Answer:

Here's your answer....

The consecutive odd integers are

2n+1, 2n+3, 2n+5, 2n+7

Average is 42

2n+1+2n+3+2n+5+2n+7/4 = 42

2n+1+2n+3+2n+5+2n+7 = 168

8n+16 = 168

8n = 168-16

8n = 152

n = 152/8

n = 19

b is 2n+3 = 2(19) +3 =41

d is 2n+7= 2(19) + 7 =45

Product is

41*45

1845

Step-by-step explanation:

Let X be any odd number. Hence consecutive odd numbers will be

X , (X+2) , (X+4) , (X+6).

Average = 42

Number of terms = 4

Therefore,

X + X + 2 + X+4+X+6/4 = 42

Taking 4 on Rhs ,

4x + 12 = 168

Dividing by 4,

X + 3 = 42.

X= 39

B = 39 + 2 = 41

D = 39+6 = 45

B*D= 1845
