C scored 60% more marks than D

=> C Marks = D + (60/100)D = 1.6D

B scored 40% more marks than C

=> B Marks = 1.6D + (4/100)1.6D  = 1.6 * 1.4 D

A scored 25% More marks than B

=> A Marks  = 1.6 * 1.4D  + (25/100) * 1.6*1.4D

= 1.6 * 1.4 * 1.25 D

1.6 * 1.4 * 1.25 D = 320

=> 1.4 * 1.25 D =  200

=> 1.4D = 160

=> D = 800/7

D %  Marks  =   100 * (800/7) / 500  = 160/7 %

= 22.8 %
