Answer:

K= -1

steps:

p(x)=ax²-2bx+c

p(1)=a(1)²-2b×1+c

=a-2b+c=a=c-2ab

given: a+c=2b

∴        p(1)=2b-2b=0

⇒      x=1 is a zero of p(x)

now,product of zeroes of p(x)=c/a

other root=c/a×1=c/a

roots are 1 and c/a

∵c/a are co -prime

∴integral root of p(x) = 1

A.T.Q., 1 is a root of f(x)=2x³-5x²+kx+4

⇒           f(1)=0

⇒           2(1)³-5(1)²+k×1+4=0

k=-1
