According to the question :
Let the number be ' x '
⋆ 5 consecutive even numbers = x, ( x + 2 ), ( x + 4 ), ( x + 6 ), ( x + 8 )
⋆ A = (x) , B = (x + 2) , C = (x + 4) , D = (x + 6) , E = (x + 8)
⋆ Sum = Addition
According to the condition :
- A + D = 198
- A = ( x ) , D = ( x + 6 )
Equation :
→ x + ( x + 6 ) = 198
→ 2x + 6 = 198
→ x = 198 - 6 / 2
→ x = 192 / 2
→ x = 96
☞ A = x = 96
☞ B = x + 2 = 96 + 2 = 98
☞ C = x + 4 = 96 + 4 = 100
☞ D = x + 6 = 96 + 6 = 102
☞ E = x + 8 = 96 + 8 = 104
To find :
Sum of all ,
=> 96 + 98 + 100 + 102 + 104
=> 500
