a:b is 3 : 4 and b: c and is 5 : 9 then a : b : c is ??

Answer:

To find a : b : c, b is made same in both the ratios. L.C.M of 4 and 5 is 20

a:b=3÷4=(3×5)÷(4×5)=15÷20

b:c=5÷9=(5×4)÷(9×4)=20÷36

∴ a:b:c=15:20:36
