(a+b)²=A²+2AB+b²

(a-b)²=a²-2ab+b²

(a+b)²-[ (a-b)²=a²+2AB+b²]-[a²-2ab+b²]

The value of  (a+b)²-(a-b)² is 4ab

Given:

A equation i.e.,(a+b)²-(a-b)²

To find:

The value of (a+b)²-(a-b)²

Solution:

So, (a+b)² = a²+b²+2ab

(a-b)²= a²+b²-2ab

(a+b)²-(a-b)² = a²+b²+2ab-a²-b²+2ab

(a+b)²-(a-b)² = 2ab+2ab = 4ab

Hence, the value of (a+b)²-(a-b)² is 4ab.
