Hi friend,
Here's your answer,
Total money=₹5500
₹1coin : ₹5coin : ₹10coin : : 5 : 4 : 3
Let x be the ratio of proportionality,
Therefore,
Number of ₹1coin = 5x
Number of ₹5coin = 4x/5
Number of ₹10coin = 3x/10
According to the problem,
5x+4x+3x=₹5500
12x=5500
x=5500/12=458(approx.)
Number of ₹1coin
=5×458=2290coins (approx.)
Number of ₹5coin
=4/5×458=366coins (approx.)
Number of ₹10coin
=3/10×458=137coins (approx.)
Verification:-
(1×2290)+(5×366)+(10×137)
=₹5490(By rounding off, we get 5500)
Hope it helps!!!!
