let the no. of 10 paise be x
then 25 paise is 3x
and 50 paise is 3x+5
convert all paise in rupees
then 1/4(3x)+1/10(x)+1/2(3x+5)=120
hence x=50
therefore 10 paise coin is 50
then 25 paise is 3x
and 50 paise is 3x+5
convert all paise in rupees
then 1/4(3x)+1/10(x)+1/2(3x+5)=120
hence x=50
therefore 10 paise coin is 50

Given:
Total value of money = ₹ 120
Number of 25paise coins = 3(Number of 10 paise coins)
Number of 50 paise coins = 5 + Number of 25 paise coins
To find:
The number of 10 paise coins
Calculation:
Let the number of 10 paise coins be ‘x’, the number of 25 paise coins be y, the number of 50 paise coins be z. According to the given data
Number of 25paise coins = 3(Number of 10 paise coins)
=> y = 3x
Number of 50 paise coins = 5 + Number of 25 paise coins
=> z = 5+y
=> z = 3x+5
Total value of money = ₹ 120
=> (1/10)x + (1/4)3x + (1/2)(3x+5) = 120
=> 2x+15x+10(3x+5) / 20 = 120
=> 47x+50 = 2400
=> x = 50
The number of 10 paise coins is 50
