A bag contains 100 tickets numbered 1, 2, 3, ….100. if a ticket is drawn out at random, what is the probability that the ticket drawn has the digit 2 appearing on it? ........i can't understand plz explain this question

Probability = Desired Results / Total Results

In this case, total number of results is 100, as any number from 1 to 100 will come while drawing

The number of Desired Results is 90, as we need a two digit number while drawing which excludes 1, 2,3,4,5, 6,7,8,9,100

Therefore

Probability = 90/100 = 9/10

This question means has probability of getting no. on card which has 2
Betwen 1 and 100 there are 19 such no. i.e. 2,12,22,32,42,52,62,72,82,92,20,21 23 24 25 26 27 28 29
Therefore probability is 19/100
