Step-by-step explanation:

ANSWER ::

i) Total number of possible outcomes = 12

Let A be the event that the ball will be a black ball

Then the number of possible outcomes = x

So P(A) = x /12

ii) Total number of possible outcomes = 18

Let B be the event that the ball will be a black ball

be the event that the ball will be a black ball Then the number of possible outcomes = x + 6

So P(B) = x+6 / 18

Now

x+6 / 18 = 2x /12

x+6 / 18 = x /6

x + 6 = 3x

2x = 6

x = 3
