AnswEr :

  • A Bag contains 25 paisa, 10 paisa and 5 paisa coins in ratio 1 : 2 : 3
  • Total Value of Money is Rs. 45
  • Find the Number of Coins

⋆ Let the no. of coins be x, 2x and, 3x.

According to the Question Now :

\Rightarrow\text{No. of (25 Paisa + 10 Paisa + 5 Paisa)'s Coin = 45}

  • we will change all monetary value into rupees.

\sf{No. \: of \bigg(\cancel\dfrac{25}{100} + \cancel\dfrac{10}{100} + \cancel\dfrac{5}{100}\bigg)'s \: Coin = 45}

\sf{No. \: of \bigg(\dfrac{1}{4} + \dfrac{1}{10} + \dfrac{5}{100}\bigg)'s \: Coin = 45}

  • we will multiply the no. with it now

\sf{\dfrac{1 \times x}{4} + \dfrac{1 \times 2x}{10} + \dfrac{5 \times 3x}{100}= 45}

\sf{\dfrac{x}{4} + \dfrac{2x}{10} + \dfrac{15x}{100}= 45}

\sf{ \dfrac{25x + 20x + 15x}{100}= 45}

\sf{\dfrac{ \cancel{60}x}{\cancel{100}}= 45}

\sf\dfrac{\cancel3x}{5} = \cancel{45}

\sf\dfrac{x}{5} = 15

\sf x = 15 \times 5

\boxed{\sf x = 75}

◗ 25 Paisa Coin = x = 75

◗ 10 Paisa Coin = 2x = (2 × 75) = 150

◗ 5 Paisa Coin = 3x = (3 × 75) = 225

Number of Coins will be 75, 150 & 225.

Let the number of coins be x. 25 paise coins, 10 paise coins and 5 paise coins are in the ratio = 1 : 2 : 3

x×25/100+x2×10/100×x+3×5/100×x= Rs.30

60x=30×100

x = 50

Number of 5 paise coins = 3×50=150
