Answer:

A BAG CONTAINS 4 BLACK BALLS , 5 RED BALLS AND ONE BLUE BALL.

therefore,

S ={B1 ,B2,B3,B4,R1,R2,R3,R4,R5,BL1}

n(S) = 10

NOW ,

LET " A" BE THE EVENT OF GETTING A BLACK BALL.

A = { B1,B2,B3,B4}

n(A) = 4

Using the formula of probability,

 \frac{n(a)}{n(s)}  =  \frac{4}{10}  =  \frac{2}{5}

THE PROBABILITY OF GETTING BLACK BALLS IS

 \frac{2}{5 }
