Answer:

sample space (S) = {5 red ball, 4 blue ball, 3 green ball}

n(S) = 12.

event A : the ball drawn from the bag must be red.

A = {5 red ball}

n(A) = 5

p(A) = n(A) / n(S)

p(A) = 5/12

event B : the ball drawn from the bag should not be of green color.

B = {5 red ball, 4 blue ball}

n(B) = 9

p(B) = n(B) / n(S)

p(B) = 9 / 12

p(B) = 3/4
