A bag contains 5 red and 4 green balls and another bag contains 3 red and 7 black balls. If a ball is drawm from each bag. Find the probability that both are different colours​

Bag 1:

Red ball = 5

Green ball = 3

Bag 2:

Red ball = 4

Green ball = 6

Now, according to the question we will have to cases.

1. Probability of getting Red ball from bag 1 and green ball from bag 2 = (5/8) * (6/10) = 30/80

2. Probability of getting Green from bag 1 and Red from bag 2 = (3/8) * (4/10) = 12/80

Therefore, probability of getting Red and Green,

= (30/80) + (12/80) = 42/80 = 21/40.
