Answer:

Let 50 paise coins be x

5 rupees coins will be (150-x) as there are 50 coins in the bag

50 paise = 100/50=1/2 rupees

1/2(x) + 5(150-x) = 300 rupees

x/2+750-5x = 300 rs

-9x/2+750= 300

750-300 = 9x/2

450= 9x/2 => 9x = 900 => x=900/9 = 100 (50-paise coins )

5 rupees coins = 150-x = 150-100 = 50 coins
