Answer:

We are given that A bag contains rupee, 50 paise and 25 paise coins in the ratio 5 : 7 : 9.

Let the ratio be x

So, No. of coins of Re.1 = 5x

Value of 5x coins of Re.1 = 5x

No. of coins of 50 paisa (Rs.0.5) = 7x

Value of 7x coins of 50 paisa = 7x(0.5)

No. of coins of 25 paisa ( Rs.0.25)=9x

Value of 9x coins of 25 paisa = 0.25(9x)

We are given that the total amount in the bag is rs. 430

So, 5x+0.5(7x)+0.25(9x)=430

x=40

No. of coins of Re.1 = 4x= 4(40)=160

No. of coins of 50 paisa (Rs.0.5) = 7x =7(40)=280

No. of coins of 25 paisa ( Rs.0.25)=9x =9(40)=360

Hence there are 160 , 280 and 360 coins of re.1 , 50 paisa and 25 paisa respectively
