Let the no.of 5 Rs.coins be x

then, the no.of 2Rs.coins will be (40-x)

Value of 5Rs.coins=5×x=5x

Value of 2Rs.coins=2(40-x)=80-2x

According to question,

5x+80-2x=125

3x=125-80

3x=45

x=45/3

x=15

So,the no.of 5Rs.coins=15

and the no.of 2Rs.coins

=40-15

=25
