Answer:

India is one of the fastest growing countries in the whole world with its population only second to that of China. India is still regarded as a developing country because of its rigid caste system and the various other social problems in our country. Two such problems are superstitious beliefs and gender discrimination. In our country males are regarded as a blessing in certain places and people look at females in a different manner. This is also due to the cause of poverty as the child's parents need to be able to pay the girls future husband as a form of gift although this is only one of the reasons it is a very common thing that occurs in India. As poor people are unable to do so they end up killing their own daughters. Most of these girls aren't even allowed to go to schools and they are told to only do house work. Superstitious beliefs are also one of the problems in India such as animal sacrifices and some even relate to the killing of other people over such beliefs. These are two of the social problems Indian's society faces even now.
