every action has a reaction equal in magnitude & opposite in direction

when the ball falls on the sand, the force of weight & free falling affects the stronge hit of the ball to the sand, so it makes that dent (this is an action), then the sand makes a (reaction) equal in magnitude & opposite in direction to the force of hitting so the ball stop deting in the sand & rests
