A ball has 100 joule kinetic energy at earth and moon. Both balls are thrown upward. which ball has the highest potential energy at max height. The which is on earth or moon​

As always mechanical energy is conserved

=> k.E +P.E = constant

so in both cases on moon and earth ,at max height K.E =0 ,P.E =max

and at ground P.E=0 ,K.E =max

hence K.E is converted to P.E (at max height)

As in both the cases there is 100j of energy initially so at max height in both cases they will equal P.E
