A ball is dropped from a height of 4.2 metres. To what height will it rise if there is no loss of KE after rebounding?

There is no loss of energy.

All of its potential energy would be converted to K.E.

Since there is no loss of energy , all of its K.E. would get converted to P.E. again and hence both P.E. ( before dropping and after rebounding) would be equal giving equal height.

h = H = 4.2 m
