Speed = Gravity = 9.8 m/s

Time Taken = Distance /Speed = 50/9.8 = 5.1 seconds. (approx.)

v²=980

v = _/980

v= 31.3

how long it took to reach the ground:

v = u + at

=50+(9.8)t

9.8t=50

t=50/9.8

t=5.12s
