A ball is gently dropped from a height of 20 m
so height (h)= 20 m
and initial velocity (u)= 0
velocity increases uniformly at a rate of 10 M per second
so acceleration (a)= 10 m/s²
you need to find final velocity(v).
Use formula: v² - u² = 2ah
v² - u² = 2ah
⇒ v² = 2ah - u²
⇒ v² = 2×10×20 - 0
⇒ v² = 400
⇒ v = √400
⇒ v = 20 m/s
It will strike the ground with 20 m/s velocity
so height (h)= 20 m
and initial velocity (u)= 0
velocity increases uniformly at a rate of 10 M per second
so acceleration (a)= 10 m/s²
you need to find final velocity(v).
Use formula: v² - u² = 2ah
v² - u² = 2ah

⇒ v = 20 m/s
It will strike the ground with 20 m/s velocity
