A ball is gently dropped from a height of 20m. If its velocity increases uniformly at the rate of 10m/s, with awhat velocity will it strike the ground? After what time interval will it strike the ground?

u=0m/s
a=10 m/s
s=20
v^2-u^2=2as
v^2=2(10)(20)
v^2=20(20)
v=√20(20) =20m/s

v=u+at
20=0+(10)(t)
t=20/10=2s

rate of increase of velocity 10m/s
height of ball dropped from 20m
velocity it will strike 20/10
time it will strike ground 2 seconds
velocity of ball at ground 2×10
= 20m/s

Jack56: its complete
chiefLucky: Oh sorry :D
Jack56: time to reach ground and velocity at ground
chiefLucky: Yeah yeah I know bri
