A car accelerate uniformly from an initial velocity of 2m/s to a final velocity of 10m/s in 8 sec it then slows down uniformly to a final velocity of 4m/s in 6 sec calculate the acceleration of car during first 8 sec and during the last 6 sec

First 8sec- (10–2)/8=8m/s²
Last 6sec- (4–10)/6=(–6m/s² ) or deceleration= 6m/s²
