A ball is moving with a velocity of 0.5 m/s. Its velocity is decreasing at the rate of 0.05 m/[s]x^{2}[/s]. what is its velocity after 5 s? How much time will it take from start to stop? what is the distance travelled by it before stopping? ANSWER NEEDED AS AN ATTACHMENT step BY STEP ANSWER REQUIRED PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

Answer:

Given:-

Initial velocity (u) = 0.5m/s

Final velocity (v) = 0

Accleration = 0.05m/s^2

To find:-

(i) velocity after 5 sec

By applying v - u = at

0 - u = 0.05×5

u = 0.25m/s.

(ii) How much time will it takes to stop

By applying v - u = at

0 - 0.5 = 0.05×t

0.5 = 0.05t

t = 0.5/0.05

t = 10sec.

(iii) distance travelled by the ball before stoping

By applying v^2-u^2 = 2as

0^2 - 0.5^2 = 2×0.05s

0.25 = 1s

S = 0.25/1

S = 0.25m.
