in first case ,
maximum height reached is u^2/2g
in second case
velocity in the vertical direction is u*cos60=u/2
ratio of maximum height reached in first case and second case =u^2/2g : (u/2)^2 / 2g
so ratio of E.p1 and E.p2 = 1:4

Answer:4:1

Explanation:max height in first case=u^2/2g

Now speed =u cos60=u/2 therefore max height in this case=u^2/8g from these equations required ratio =4:1
