as there are no force acting on the body in the horizontal direction therefore the horizontal component of the velocity will remain the same .
in the vertical direction the gravitational force is acting therefore using
v = u +at (where u = 0 m/s , t= 0.3 sec , a=g = 9.8 m/sec^2)
v= 0.3*9.8
v= 2.94 m/sec vertically downward towards earth velocity after 0.3 seconds.
the velocity will become inclined to angle 45 with the horizontal when the vertical and horizontal components of the velocity will become equal
v horizontal = v vertical
15 = u +at ( u=0 , a=g=9.8 m/sec)
15 = 9.8*t
t = 1.53 seconds

Explanation:
Velocity will be inclined at an angle of 45° when horizontal and vertical component of velocity are equal.
Horizontal (v)=Vertical (v)
15 = u+at
15= 0+9.8*t
15/9.8=t
1.5 s = t
After 1.5 s velocity will be inclined at an angle of 45°.
