A ball is thrown up with a certain velocity it attains a height of 40 m and comes back to the thrower find the distance and the magnitude of the displacement​

Distance is 80 m

(40*2=80)

Displacement is zero so magnitude is also zero

Answer:

Magnitude of distance = (40+40)m

Magnitude of displacement = 0m

since the ball came back to the thrower.
