here,

u= 10 m/sec ( initial velocity)

v= 20 m/sec ( final velovity)

g= -10 m/sec^2 ( acc. due to gravity)

s=? ( height of tower)

By 3rd kinematical eqyation.....

 {v}^{2}  =  {u}^{2}  + 2gs \\  \\ s =  \frac{ {v}^{2} -  {u}^{2}  }{2g}  \\  \\ s =   \frac{ {20}^{2}  -  {10}^{2} }{2( - 10)}  \\  \\ s =  \frac{400 - 100}{ - 20}  \\  \\ s =  \frac{ - 300}{20}  \\  \\ s =  - 15m

so, height of tower is 15 metres.......
