A ball is thrown upwards and it goes to the height 100 m and comes down1) What is the net displacement?2) What is the net distance?

1) Net displacement is 0m

2)Net distance is 100m+100m= 200m

displacement is the shortest possible distance between the initial position and final position  here since the initial position is the final position the net displacement is 0

distance is the total length of the path the object has travelled hence it is 100+100=200(100m for going up+100m for coming down)
