At the top
u=120m/s
v=0
By 3rd equation of motion
v²=u²+2gh. (Considering g=9.8m/s²)
0²=120²-2*9.8*h
h=720m
Now,
Halfway
So, h=(720/2)m
=360m
u=120m/s
h=360
g=9.8m/s²
By 3rd equation
v²=u²+2gh
v²=120²+2*9.8*360
v²=14400+7056
v²=21456
v=√21456
v=146.4787
Was that useful?
