A ball is thrown vertically upward. it has a speed of 10 metre per second when it has reached one half of its maximum height. how does the ball rise?​

After reaching maximum height velocity becomes zero then...

0 = (10)² - 2 X 10 X  \frac{h}{2}

h =  \frac{200}{20}

= 10 meter.
