A ball is thrown vertically upward with the speed of 40 m per second if the distance travelled by the body in 6 second is 50 km then what is the value of k

u= 40m/s
Time required for body to reach highest point = u/g = 40/10 = 4s
Distance travelled in 4s = H(max) = u^2/2g = 40^2/20 = 80m
While descending the body takes 4s
In the first 2s of its descending the distance travelled by it = S = ut+1/2gt^2 = 1/2 gt^2 (u=0)
S = 1/2*10*2^2 = 20m
Thus distance travelled by it in 6s = 80+20 = 100m = 50k m
k = 100/50 = 2
