Hey!!!!

given

g = - 10m \ {s}^{2}
u = 49 \frac{m}{s}
v = 0 \frac{m}{s}
Therefore,

by 1st equation of motion

v=u+gt

0= 49+(–10)t

–49= –10t

–49/–10=t

4.9 sec = t

Therefore, the required time is 4.9 sec.

Hi , there !!!

here is your answer :-

we consider g = 9.8

total time taken to return to the surface of earth is given by formula = 2u / g

so on putting value we get

=> 2 × 49 / 9.8

so , total time taken to return to earth surface is = 10 s .

hope it helps you!!!

thanks !!!
