a = - 10 m/s² ( acceleration due to gravity )

final Velocity, v = 0 ( the ball will be at its maximum height )

Initial Velocity, u = 10 m/s

We know,

2as = -

2×-10×s = 0 - (10)²

-20s = - 100

20s = 100

s = 100/20

s = 5 m

Hence, the maximum height of the ball will be 5 m
