let the above direction is positive.

The ball is thrown with initial velocity u=125m/s

Acceleration of the ball = -9.8m/s²

At highest point , the velocity of the ball =0

The formula ///

v²=u²+2as

0²=125²+ 2(-9.8)H

125²=19.6H

H=15625/19.6

H=797.2m

So the ball goes 797.2 m high.
