a ball of mass 0.2 kg is thrown vertically upwards by applying a force by hand. If the hand moves 0.2m while applying the force and the ball goes upto 2m height further, find the magniture of the force. Consider g = 10m/s^2 :

(1) 4 N (B)16 N (C)20 N (D)22 N

By applying law of conservation of energy

Fx = mgh
F = mgh/x
= (0.2 × 10 × 2.2)/0.2
= 22 N

Fs = mgh

Here h will be the sum total of distance of hand and the original distance as here both KE and PE will work,

Here h=2+0.2=2.2

So, F = mgh/s

F=0.2×10×2.2/0.2

F=10×2.2

F=22N

Hope it helps u mark as brainliest please
