here is your answer

given :

mass (m) = 0.5 kg

initial velocity (u) = 5 m/s

final velocity (v) = 3 m/s

to find : change in kinetic energy

solution :

→ change in kinetic energy = 1/2m(v-u)

→ change in kinetic energy = 1/2*0.5(3-5)

→ change in kinetic energy = 0.25*(-2)

→ change in kinetic energy = -0.5 Joule

Answer :

Mass = 0.5kg

initial velocity = 5m/s

final velocity = 3m/s

Change in kinetic energy = 1/2 m(v - u)

= 1/2 × 0.5 (3 - 5)

= 1/2 × 0.5 × - 2

= -0.5 Joule
