Heya!
--------

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

⭐Given that ,

Mass of ball => 100 g = 0.1 Kg

Initial Velocity u => 10 m/s

Time t => 0.2 seconds

Final velocity v => 0

Force applied = ?

Now we know that ,

F = ma

So in order to find force , we need acceleration .

V = U + AT [ First equation of motion ]

10 + 0.2 A = 0

0.2 A = -10

A = -10/0.2

A = -50 ms²
==========

Now ,

Force = 0.1 × -50

F = -5 N

\textbf{ \underline{ Hello Mate! }}

Initial speed with which ball was moving ( u ) = 10 m/s

Final speed ( v ) = 0

Time taken by ball = 0.2 s

By first equation of motion we know that

\textbf{ v = u + at }

0 = 10 + a(0.2)

- 10 = 0.2a

- 10 / 0.2 = a

- 50 m/s² = a

\textbf{ F = ma }

Mass of gun, = 100g

Converting it into kg we get = 0.1kg

F = (0.1)(-50)

Force = - 5 N

\boxed{ \textbf{ Force applied by boy is -5N }}

Have great future ahead!
