A ball of mass 100gram and another ball of 120gram moves towards each other with speeds 6m/s and 5m/s respectively. if they strick to each other after collision , what would be velocity of combind mass after the collision

By law of conservation of momentum,

m1u1 + m2u2 = m1v1 + m2v2

v1 = v2 = v, since the objects are sticking together

0.1 * 6 + 0.12 * 5 = v(m1 + m2)
0.6 + 0.6 = v(0.22)
v= 1.2/0.22
v = 5.45m/s
