From the given condition...

Initial velocity, u = 0 m/s

distance, s = 5 m

Mass, m = 200 g = 0.2 kg

Acceleration, a = g = 10 m/s²

v² - u² = 2as

v² - 0 = 2(10)(5)

v² = 100

v = 10 m/s

Kinetic energy, K = 1/2.mv²

K = (0.2)(10²)/2

K = 10 J

Alternate method

We know that, at initial whole energy was stored in potential energy and later it gets completely converted to kinetic energy

Initial potential energy, U = mgh

U = (0.2)(10)(5)

U = 10 J

Since it gets completely converted into kinetic energy, then, kinetic energy = potential energy

K = U

K = 10 J
