Answer:

Force = Mass × Acceleration

According to the question,

  • Mass = 250 g = 0.25 Kg
  • Force = 8 N

⇒ Acceleration = Force / Mass = 8 / 0.25 = 32 m/s²

Hence Acceleration is 32 m/s²

Now given that Initial Velocity is 'v'. Using First Equation of Motion we get,

⇒ v = u + at

⇒ v' = v + 32t

It is given that we are required to find speed v' after 2.5 s. Substituting this in 't' we get,

⇒ v' = v + 32 ( 2.5 )

⇒ v' = v + 80

Thus the required value of Final Speed is Initial Speed + 80 m/s
