A ball of mass 5o kg is dropped from a height of 20m. A boy on ground hits the ball with an average force of 200N so that it attain a vertical height of 45 m.the time for which the ball remain in contact with the bat ?

First we have to find v at the ground of ball
V = root 2as = root 2*10*20= 20 m/s
Now find velocity of the ball when hitten by bat
V = root 2*10*45 = 30
Now f*dt = mv - mu = change in momentum
dt = 5*(30-(-20))/200= 50*50/200=1.25 s
Note:-
(If the mass 5kg
But if 50 than T =12.5s)
V = root 2as = root 2*10*20= 20 m/s
