The car will have greater momentum.

Justification :

  • The momentum is the product of mass and velocity of an object.
  • Momentum = Mass × Velocity
  • Now, it is obvious that the mass of small ball will be less than the mass of a big car..
  • Although the velocity is constant in both cases.
  • Due to higher value of mass the car will have higher value of momentum also, as compared to the ball.
  • M2 > M1, so (M2 × v) > (M1 × v).
