The car will have greater momentum.
Justification :
- The momentum is the product of mass and velocity of an object.
- Momentum = Mass × Velocity
- Now, it is obvious that the mass of small ball will be less than the mass of a big car..
- Although the velocity is constant in both cases.
- Due to higher value of mass the car will have higher value of momentum also, as compared to the ball.
- M2 > M1, so (M2 × v) > (M1 × v).
