hi mate here is your answer -

F = ma

F = m ( v - u ) /t

Mass - 0.4kg

initial velocity ( u ) - 5 m/s

final velocity ( v ) - 8 m/s

Now, using formula -

F = ma

F = m ( v - u )/t

F = 0.4 kg ( 8 m/s - 5 m/s )/6 s

F = 0.4 kg × 3 m/s / 6s

F = 0.4kg × 1/2 m/s

F = 0.4/2 kgm/s

F = 1/5 kgm/s

F = 0.2 kgm/s
